American International Institute of Medical Sciences, Bedwas

The American International Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a private medical college located in Bedwas, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Established in 2016, it is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. AIIMS Bedwas has an annual intake of 150 students for its MBBS program.

Courses offered

AIIMS Bedwas offers a range of medical courses, including: 

• MBBS: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (5.5 years duration, including a 1-year internship).
• MD: Doctor of Medicine in various specializations like Anaesthesiology, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Pathology, and Paediatrics.
• MS: Master of Surgery in specializations such as General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Orthopaedics. 

Admission

Admission to the MBBS program at AIIMS Bedwas is based on the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) score. For postgraduate courses, applicants need to qualify for NEET PG and have secured at least 50% marks in MBBS. 

Scholarships

AIIMS Bedwas offers various scholarships, including the Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC students (up to ₹2,500,000 per annum) and the Chief Minister's Higher Education Scholarship Scheme (₹5,000 per annum). 

Infrastructure and facilities

AIIMS Bedwas is located on a 21-acre campus and includes a GBH General Hospital, a lecture theatre, and a central library. The hospital infrastructure provides facilities for OPD, OT, and ICU services. The campus also has recreation facilities like a recreation room, volleyball court, and badminton court.
