Universal Medical College
Universal Medical College (UMC) is a private medical college and hospital located in Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded in 2013 and is affiliated with the University of Dhaka.
Academic information
- Program: UMC offers a 5-year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program in English, followed by a mandatory 1-year internship.
- Recognition: The college is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India.
- Admission: Admission for international students, including those from India, requires a valid NEET score. Applicants must also have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
