Fergana State University

Fergana State University (FSU) is a public university located in Fergana, Uzbekistan. Founded in 1930 as a pedagogical institute, it is one of the country's most respected higher education institutions, offering a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across numerous fields of study. The university is particularly noted for its medical programs.

Admission for international students

FSU's admission requirements for international students are generally straightforward, especially for medical programs. 

Eligibility criteria (for MBBS)

  • Age: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
  • Academics: Completion of 12th grade (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40–45% for reserved categories).
  • NEET: Indian students must qualify for the NEET exam as per NMC guidelines.
  • Language: Instruction is in English, and while no IELTS/TOEFL is required, a good command of English is necessary.

  • Scanned copies of 10th and 12th-grade transcripts and certificates.
  • A valid passport copy.
  • The NEET scorecard (for Indian students).
